The circles are cut from a metallic pearlescent paper
and rounds off that tactile “handmade with love” feel.

quilled wedding cake card

September 15, 2009 at 5:06 pm (Greeting Card, by Angela, quilling)

Inspired by Cecelia, I quilled this three tiered wedding cake card for a friend’s upcoming wedding.

It was super fun to make. Just took a lot of time…

Quilled Cat

thea2 My 9-yr old nephew, Christopher, quilled a birthday card for his friend. I’m simply amazed at his ratio of elements. I could not have done it better.

E Doherty’s pattern is sheer genius! The nose is sculpted to turn upwards. His body is perfectly formed into a peanut. I tried wings on him, but I think the ratio has to be re-worked. Anyway, it made a nice card nonetheless.
